Broadlands Bucks Auction Rules

The Broadlands Bucks Auction is intended as a promotional event for the enjoyment of Broadlands Village Center Customers.

The Broadlands Bucks Auction will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 2pm to 4pm without intermission at a designated space within the Broadlands Village Center.

A valid receipt will be an original receipt for an actual purchase made at any Broadlands Village Center store between September 1, 2014 and October 1, 2014. Copies and/or facsimiles are not acceptable. Receipts must bear both the store name and date of the purchase. Broadlands Village Center representatives reserve the right to examine receipts for validity and to reject any receipts that are, in the representative's sole discretion, not valid.

Receipts deemed valid will be totaled, marked and returned to the Customer. Customers will receive a certificate for Broadlands Bucks. Unless otherwise specified, Customers will receive $1 in Broadlands Bucks for every $1 in valid receipts.

Broadlands Village Center may make changes, deletions, and additions to the auction and/or auction items at any time without prior notice.

Employees of Saul Centers and Broadlands Village Center stores, their family members and agents are not eligible to participate.

Bidding:

Bidders must be 18 years of age or older.

Broadlands Bucks will be the only currency allowed at the auction.

To bid on items, Bidders must check in at the door where they will receive a numbered paddle to use in bidding. When bidding, Bidders must hold the paddle so that the number can be easily seen by the Auctioneer.

The Auctioneer will direct the bidding during the auction and announce the winning bidder on each item. Decisions of the Auctioneer are final.

Unless otherwise directed by the Auctioneer, all winners will pay for their items with Broadlands Bucks at the conclusion of the event.

Broadlands Village Center has endeavored to catalogue and describe the auctioned items and services correctly, but everything is sold "as is." Additionally, Auctioneer will make reasonable attempts to clarify and provide an accurate description of Auction items at the time of bidding. By participating in the Auction, the customer waives any claims for liability against either the Broadlands Village Center, it hosts, agents or the provider of goods and services.
